Q: How do I Pick up the Keys in Chicago?
A: Let us know via email when you plan to arrive twenty-four hours before check-in.  Call us when you are approaching the apartment.  Normally, we meet you in the lobby with the key.  If we are out of town, we use a key service in Chicago.  The key is handled by Sapo, the manager of Michael’s Pizzeria & Tavern.  His cell phone number is 1- (773)  574-5149


Q: Is there an Internet connection?
A: Belle Plaine offers complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access.  Connect with Home_ISB and enter the access code 7738990260.  Bittersweet has no Internet access.


Q: What Type of Payment is Acceptable?
A: We require payment of the deposit via a credit or debit card using PayPay.  You do not need a PayPal account to make a payment via PayPal.  The balance is due in cash on arrival.  We do not accept any other forms of payment.


Q: What Happens if I Cancel my Booking?
A: Unfortunately, the deposit is non-refundable because the property is taken off the market after the booking is made.  There is no further charge.


Q: What Additional Charges (and Taxes) are there?
A: There is a one-time cleaning fee of $35/30 per stay.  At the moment, there are no further charges.


Q: What if I need a cleaning service during my stay?
A: A cleaning service can be provided for $35 with 48 hours notice.


Q: Is a Receipt Available?
A: Yes, on request.


Q: What if I arrive before the 3:00 pm check-in?
A: If the apartment is clean, we allow but cannot guarantee early check-in.  However, you can leave luggage in the apartment and collect the keys if cleaning is in process.


Q: What Happens if I Loose or Fail to Return the Keys?
A: We will supply you with a new set of keys.  However, there is a $50/30 charge for the replacement.
